This is the best preserved Talayot village of Menorca, with a surface area of 5000m2, and was evacuated in 1931 by Margaret Murray. Located around 2km from Port Mahon, in the direction of Sant Lluis. At this site the best-preserved tools were found, today on display in the Museum of Menorca.
This is a Catalonian gothic style temple and was built between the 13th and 14th century by the order of Alfonso III of Aragon after conquering the island from the moors in 1287. The cathedral received the title of minor basilica in1953, granted by Pope Pius XII.
